Eikeda is the Card and Craft making company that Nikkie owns and runs seperately from the various services also offered by this website.
Eikeda mostly offers personalised stationery for weddings and corporate use, but she also takes her handmade items and sells them at various craft fairs all over the UK.
Her items include: cards for all occasions; resin set flowers and arrangements; fresh/artificial flower arrangements; gift boxes; and picture frames. Photographs of these items are available to view in the example gallery below along with the price (excluding postage). She can't guarentee anything photographed is still available to buy, but she can re-make pretty much everything shown- just ask!.
Another area that she covers is portraits and paintings on commission. Portraits can only be done via photograph, but other items/buildings can either be done via photograph or "live" (basically she'll sit infront of the subject and draw/paint it for you). This service makes a very personal gift and is perfect to give a loved one on a special occasion.
Perhaps your father loves a particular train and would love that in a framed, large watercolour version to display proudly in his home? Or maybe you have a few different locations you'd like to create into a montage/painting for your partner so they can remember the lifes journey you've had together? What about a painting of a newly married couples first home? Someone's retirement home perhaps? You've just redecorated and need some artwork for the walls, but can't find the thing you want in the shops- Ask Nikkie! The possibilities are endless! All pieces are orginial and unique to you.
She can work in any medium- watercolour, arcylic, oil, pastel, charcoal etc- on to any surface [restrictions apply with certain medium/surface combinations] including wood, glass, tiles, canvas, paper etc. Framing is optional and dependant on resulting commission.
If you have an idea, and want to know the aproximate cost, please email Nikkie and state your requirements. She works very hard to make sure the cost she quotes is the amount you pay, but this can never be guarenteed. Please also tell her your location so she can include the postage cost in your quote.
Her prices are very reasonable and postage & packaging [cards only] is £2 for the first card- each additional card is an extra 50p per card up to a maximum postage cost of £6 (restrictions apply for particularly large and/or international orders). Price to post a commissioned painting is size/ weight dependant and the cost will be included in the quote, if requested.
This site is not an official online shop (there's no "shopping basket" or "checkout"). Purchases for items have to made through an email quote enquiry. Please email with the item numbers and prices of the cards you wish to order- she will then reply detailing your order, cost including delivery, expected dispatch date [she may have to remake your chosen card/s], and a link to pay her via paypal. This is the only form of payment she accepts at this time. Collection of orders is also welcome.
Other items [that aren't cards] are unavailable to buy through this website at this time. Sorry!
