ARCHITECTURAL VISUALISATION:

Nikkie's first and foremost area of expertise is architectural visualisation. This very title encompasses a huge variety of areas- from Visual Impact Assessments (VIAs) right through to simple advertising images. When you add animation into the equation- you're given a whole new lot of areas to undertake and consider, so trying to explain each option would require a considerable amount of time, space and patience of the person reading it! The easiest way is to get you, the clients/architects, to contact Nikkie and ask
her what it is you're after- she's very objective and will give point-full and clear advice into what she can do for you.

She has worked on many projects- from large tower blocks to single domicile housing- there's no job too small or too big. This includes planning application work, publicity and advertising images- from the very small inside a brochure to the huge billboard sizing. Even competition work has been undertaken- she recently helped one firm of architects secure a bid for a redevelopment of Aston University, in Birmingham! There's also been schemes that have been landscape only and interior only, so don't worry if you don't even have a building to build!
Have a look at the following examples of both still image and animation related architectural work. Even if you don't see anything similar to what you're after, it doesn't mean she won't/can't do it!

3D ANIMATION AND MODELLING:

3D animation and modelling is an ever growing and expanding area of many different industries. You can find 3D used in many many many areas- from Films, TV and music videosthrough to book illustrations, advertising and in architecture sectors. There is such huge scope for 3D work that to list all possible applications for it would take up all the space on this website... and then some! For ease of explanation and fotmat, it has been placed into very vague catagories listed below. But this is by no means the only stuff Nikkie is willing to undertake- given a decent time frame and budget she can "have a go" at pretty much anything. If she can't- she'll tell you! She's not one of those people who'll take on anything and everything just to get a job and paid. Doing work like that can end in less than satisfactory results and Nikkie's first and foremost rule to to always please the client and give them nothing less than what they want and the best she can provide- undertaking a job beyond her skills and abilities would completely go against this. But- in the rare event you ask her to do something she can't- she'll always give you advice, suggestions and try and point you in the direction of someone who can.

Some of the areas covered by 3D animation and modelling are detailed here:
3D Animation
Character Animation- animation cycles- walk, run, jump etc with your own pre-setup character
Camera Animation- fly-throughs, aerials, fly-overs etc.
Short/Full Film- Fully created animations including all modelling, texturing and animation from start to finish contained into one film.
Commercials / Promotions- similar to short film, but usually less complicated and shorter.

3D Modelling
Organic Objects- anything "living/moving" like plants, humans, animals etc.
Inanimate Objects- anything that doesn't have life and generally remains regid. mainly consists of background objects such as lamps, shelves, doors, other props etc.
Scenes / Sets- game level constructions, 3D scenes for use with live action footage/ 3D animation, back drops etc.
Characters- creating, designing, rigging, texturing etc. either for Nikkie's use in character animation and/or on other projects, or for clients use.
Book Illustrations / Graphics- creating 3D organic/inanimate objects set up specifically for use on billboards, in books or adverts.
